I love movies. When I was little I used to pretend I was whichever character I was watching. For example after viewing "Annie" I convinced my childhood best friend's mom that my parents had adopted me because my parents had died in a car accident. My friend's mom months later told my mom how wonderful she was for adopting me, needless to say my mom had to explain my obsession with movies and how I had a habit of recreating them.
My latest movie obsession is the trailer for "The Fourth Kind." The movie stars Milla Jovovich who plays psychologist Dr. Abigail Tyler. She began videotaping sessions with traumatized patients and unwittingly discovered some of the most disturbing evidence of alien abduction ever documented. The movie is supposed to mix in real footage of the video sessions, but I tend to believe this is more of a blair-witch tactic than actual real footage.
Here's the trailer, have a look for yourself

Looking back
This painting is hanging in my living room. It was created way back in 2004 for my Senior Thesis at Moore College. Abstract painting seems to be my strength and where I can really explore my thoughts. The series of paintings I created at this time seem to reflect the chaotic life I had submerged myself in. People tend to be drawn to these works the most, I just hope this wasn't my peak as an artist.
Apartment living has really put some restraints on being able to paint large scale. Maybe I'll go paint the shower curtain...
